'Swastik' is a specific type of image, word & symbol which has been using since early of the Vedic period. It holds an important role in our tradition. The word also used in our great epics "Mahabharata"& "Ramayana". Hindus believe 'Swastik' is one of their holy & auspicious symbol which represents luck, prosperity, good fortune, good well being & love. It is a religious icon draws with Sindoor.
Hindu draws it on their Pooja room, account books or any good work which they are going to start... They believe that the use of 'Swastik' reduces the negative forces & evil powers & brings positive energy...
In Hinduism, they believe that the 'Swastik' symbol is made with four sides or four lings which are each bent in 90 degrees. It represents four pillars (Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda, Atharvaveda) & philosophy of four Purusarthas in Hinduism which are Dharma(religion), Artha(wealth), Kama(love) & Moksha (liberty).
We can say 'Swastik' is the symbol & blessings of Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva...
